Join us for our next community work day

 Join us as we restore the wall of Kō‘ie‘ie Fishpond located in North Kīhei. 

What will we be doing?

Volunteers will help rebuild areas of the wall that have fallen by lifting rocks and placing them back on the wall. 

Who can participate?

We welcome volunteers who are:

• physically fit to lift at least 20 pounds
• able to walk on unstable rocky slippery surfaces 
• comfortable in 3 to 4 feet of ocean 
• over the age of 14

What are the hazards that I should consider?

This activity is in the ocean. You will be exposed to uneven slippery surfaces so it is suggested that only those who are able to do this type of work, participate. If you have any prior injuries (back, legs, etc.), you should know your limitations. This is an intermediate level activity.

What should I bring?

 tabis/water shoes, water, hat, sunscreen, towel, etc.
